Think4South: ripartiamo dai giovani e dal Sud

Oggi siamo così orgogliosi del lavoro compiuto che, anche se non è troppo nel nostro stile, vogliamo vantarci un po’, soprattutto perché il progetto che abbiamo sostenuto è ambizioso e porta avanti uno scopo che abbiamo fortemente a cuore: offrire al Mezzogiorno un’opportunità di crescita.

Dai si, lo ammettiamo, siamo un po’ di parte, perché nonostante la nostra web agency sia a Roma le nostre carte di identità parlano chiaro, siamo meridionali e ci teniamo a ricordarlo, e siamo straconvinti che non si possa far ripartire la nostra bell’Italia se non si scommette sui giovani e sul Sud, entrambi troppo spesso dimenticati. L’oggetto del nostro orgoglio si chiama “Think4South”, un’iniziativa ideata da Groupama Assicurazioni e di cui abbiamo curato il sito e la comunicazione online e che crediamo abbia tutte le carte in regola per diventare una motrice di idee ed innovazioni.

Fin qui belle parole, ma che sarebbe questo pensiero per il Sud?

Pensare per il Sud significa concedere un’opportunità ai giovani, di età compresa tra i 18 e i 35 anni, o alle Start Up fondate tra il 2014 e il 2015, con un requisito fondamentale: che si tratti di una persona fisica o giuridica è essenziale che si risieda in una delle Regioni del Sud Italia e dunque in Campania, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia o Sardegna.

Dall’ultimo rapporto del 2014 redatto dall’Associazione Italiana del Private Equity e Venture Capital (Aifi) è emerso che i fondi pubblici riservati alle Start Up sono usati prevalentemente per finanziare i progetti realizzati a Milano, Torino e Roma, a discapito di tutte le altre Regioni, comprese quelle del meridione. Ma sarà mai possibile che l’innovazione sia appannaggio esclusivo di queste tre città e che il Sud non partorisca mai niente degno di essere finanziato?

È proprio sulla scia di questo interrogativo che ha preso piede “Think4South” e ha messo in luce che diversamente da quanto creda anche lo Stato, il Sud è una fucina di idee innovative. Non a caso il 15 Maggio si sono chiuse le iscrizioni che hanno avuto un enorme ed inaspettato successo, forse anche grazie alla comodità di registrazione sul sito www.think4south.it, raggiungendo la quota di 1000 partecipanti e di 137 progetti completi.

Il 26 Maggio si è tenuta l’Evaluation Day in cui sono stati eletti gli 8 finalisti, mentre la proclamazione dei vincitori si terrà il 6 luglio presso la sede romana di LuissEnLabs e noi ne seguiremo la diretta con il live-tweeting con l’account ufficiale dell’inziativa @Think4South e l’hashtag #ContiamoSUDite.
